While we charge a nominal entry fee, our Sensory Room relies on the support of donors like you who understand the importance and the value of having such a space available.
Our sensory room is a calming space designed to help individuals with sensory processing needs, such as those with autism, ADHD, anxiety and other intellectual or developmental disabilities. We provide a relaxing environment with sensory activities to promote well-being, self-regulation, and relaxation. The room is open to individuals who will benefit from sensory support, with supervision required for all users by a Parent, Guardian or Caregiver. The goal is to create a peaceful and respectful atmosphere for everyone to enjoy.

Who Can Use It: The Sensory Room is open to individuals who need sensory support up to the age of 18, including young toddlers and babies. A parent, guardian, or caregiver must accompany all users. For the time being.
Respectful Behavior: Keep noise low, avoid disruptive behavior, and treat the room and equipment with care.
Privacy: No photos or recordings unless permitted. Personal information will remain confidential.
Time & Supervision: Sessions are limited to 30 minutes. All users must be supervised at all times by the responsible adult. The sensory room currently only allows 1:1, meaning one parent/caregiver and one child up to the age of 18.
Equipment & Cleanliness: Follow staff instructions for equipment use. Use hand sanitizer, and keep the room clean. No food or drinks, except water.
Liability: By using the room, users agree to supervise themselves or their dependents and accept responsibility for any accidents or damages to BRIDGES Sensory Room property.
